Loisium Wine & Spa Resort Langenlois Austria

Loisium Wine & Spa Resort in Langenlois Austria is a unique concept for a hotel and spa, catering for the discerning for wine lovers with an outstanding architectural approach. Set amid rolling vineyards in Austria most popular white wine region and just opposite of the famous LOISIUM Wine World, which is built over an underground labyrinth of 900 year old wine cellars, the Loisium Hotel, designed by American architect Steven Holl, seems to float on pillars and glass.

The 82 guestrooms feature the wine theme and another widely used motif throughout the hotel: a map of the cellars. Airy rooms have large windows overlooking vineyards and the wonderfully rural lifestyle of the surrounding villages. The hotel has a lovely all-year heated outdoor swimming pool, and guests can indulge in a full array of Aveda spa treatments in an award-winning spa. They can also sample intriguing local treatments involving grape and wine products before settling down to a wine-themed meal in the spectacular restaurant. Another main attraction is a trip to the educational (and Holl-designed) wine center next door for individual wine tasting in the wine shop or participating in wine seminars. Don’t miss one of the trekking tours through the lovely surrounding vineyards or a visit of the Danube valley with its monasteries and old castles ( UNESCO world heritage area ).
